Swedac - We create a safer everyday life

Have you worked in an accredited organization before? If so, you may have an idea of what the role of an assessment leader entails. All accredited organizations receive regular visits from us; we possess specialized expertise in supervision and quality assurance to ensure that the work of our clients is carried out correctly. In the environmental and health unit, we issue accreditations and conduct assessments of accredited organizations, such as authorities, laboratories, international corporations, and certification bodies. We assess compliance with international standards to create a safer everyday life for everyone in society. The work may also include other tasks within the unit, such as responding to consultations or collaborating with other actors outside the authority.

Perform supervisory work digitally or on-site with clients

As an assessment leader, you are a central part of the organization, as you are responsible for part of the supervisory activities we conduct with our clients. We welcome you to an exciting, developing, and broad work role where you are sometimes part of a large team and at other times lead the supervision independently, depending on the client and area. We work with long-term planning, and you may have many cases ongoing simultaneously. The role involves a lot of administration related to supervision and contact with clients and technical experts. With us, you will have competent and friendly colleagues, and together you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients are assessed professionally. We utilize the opportunities of digitalization, which means that we conduct inspections both remotely and on-site with clients. The position involves travel with overnight stays.

Thorough introduction and training - we ensure that you perform top-class work

The role is new for everyone starting with us, and therefore we are careful to ensure that you receive the training and guidance required. All to ensure you have enough knowledge to perform your work with the right competence.

You - a person with a scientific/technical background who is passionate about quality work

We are looking for someone with a degree in a scientific or technical field at the university level, preferably with some form of chemical or biological orientation. For example, chemist/chemical engineer or microbiologist; other technical backgrounds may also be relevant. You should have a few years of work experience to understand the application of the requirements imposed during our inspections based on our clients' various operations and conditions.

It is important for us that you have a good technical understanding and ambitions to make a significant contribution to our society. You should have good administrative skills, which include attention to detail, good documentation skills, and a sense of order regarding the handling of information, documentation, and data.

You should also have good knowledge of both Swedish and English. A B driver's license is a requirement.

Experience in accredited operations, public sector work, or laboratory experience in relevant fields is also advantageous.

As a person, we envision you as organized and structured, enjoying administration. You are pedagogical in your way of communicating with relevant parties and are interested in meetings with other people. Working independently is not a problem for you, while you also appreciate being surrounded by competent colleagues and being part of a team. You have a good ability to lead others, make decisions, and take positions based on facts. Working effectively under time pressure is not an issue for you, and you dare to try new ideas. You should also have good knowledge of both Swedish and English.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Now we are curious about you! Take the opportunity to send your application as soon as possible!
